What is ToBeRocK
ToBeRocK is a patented technology developed to enhance the intestinal absorption of Berberine hydrochloride and a mix of Tocotrienols/Tocopherols (Vitamin E), which are poorly bioavailable when taken alone .
Mechanism of Action
Tocotrienols: antioxidant, cholesterol-lowering, hypoglycemic, neuroprotective, and anti-cancer.
Berberine: hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic, antioxidant, and antihypertensive. It increases insulin receptor expression and hepatic rLDL expression .
Bioavailability issues are solved through:
Auto-Emulsifying Delivery System (AEDS): a powder that emulsifies quickly in contact with intestinal fluids.
PgP (P-glycoprotein) inhibition: to improve berberine bioavailability .
Lab Testing
Dissolution tests in simulated intestinal fluids showed that ToBeRocK enables complete and uniform dispersion of tocotrienols, unlike the non-technological formula which separates into two phases .
