At Carlo Sessa, the year 2022 started with a novelty: thanks to the experience gained in the pharmaceutical field, we are pleased to present the new products for molecular diagnostics.

We have decided to make molecular kits (RT-PCR) for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 available to our customers operating in the medical sector – pharmacies and analysis laboratories.

The RT-PCR rapid detection kit is intended for the qualitative recognition of nucleic acid from SARS-CoV-2 in nasopharyngeal, oropharyngeal, anterior and salivary nasal swabs, from individuals suspected of COVID-19.

The kit is intended for use by qualified lab staff, trained in real-time PCR techniques and in vitro diagnostic procedures.
