A 100% natural mix of carotenoids from nature: it is DavosLife Biocarotene, a novelty in the nutraceutical and cosmetic field of the company founded in 2003 in Singapour and one of the main producers of tocotrienols, as well as one of the few to naturally extract such a high percentage of beta-carotene.

DavosLife Biocarotene: carotenoids

Carotenoids are lipid plant pigments, responsible for capturing the light which is not absorbed by chlorophyll and the excess light (thus acting as a photoprotective agent). They play an important nutritional role, but are also widely used in cosmetics thanks to their antioxidant properties.

Carotenoids are divided into two main groups: carotene (including α-carotene, β-carotene and lycopene) and xanthophylls (β-cryptoxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin). β-carotene, a precursor to vitamin A, is widely used as a food supplement and as an anti-oxidant as well as in pre-sun exposure cosmetics.

DavosLife Biocarotene: composition, benefits and uses

DavosLife Biocarotene comes as a complete product: it includes high concentrations of β-carotene (65%) and α-carotene (33%), as well as a low content of γ-carotene and lycopene (2% combined).
