In the previous article we introduced the company AlgoSource, which is specialized in the identification and extraction of micro-algae, and their product Spirulysat®, i.e. the Spirulina liquid extract. In this post we would like to speak about another useful product of the line: Spirugrass®, the extract obtained by Spirulina bio-refining.

Spirugrass® is the pure lipid fraction resulting from Spirulina bio-refining.
This product is rich in amino acids, iron, vitamin K and beta-carotene, thus allowing to meet the daily nutritional requirement for dietary guidelines with a reduced amount of intake.
AlgoSource and micro-algae for human health: cultivation
Since Spirulina tends to absorb heavy metals, the water quality is an essential factor for an extremely high-quality microalga.
By cultivating its own Spirulina biomass, AlgoSource maintains control over the environment, over the quality of the elements needed for the cultivation of the micro-alga as well as over the consequent environmental impact.
Spirugrass® can be supplied either in wet or dry form.
