Description
Red-Puccoon Fermented Oil comes from the root of Lithospermum erythrorhizon, plateau-grown gromwell, known as zicao in China and murasaki in Japan. Its characteristic component is shikonin, a red, oil-soluble naphthoquinone.
JAJALE processes the root with a multi-enzyme treatment and supercritical extraction, then co-assembles it into sunflower oil with a patented technology. The Lactobacillus ferment lysate, from strains selected in extreme environments, helps stabilise the actives.
The result is an oil with a soothing, repairing profile that reduces visible redness and gives the formula a natural red tone, free from synthetic colorants.

Key benefits
- Visible redness reduction — facial redness markedly reduced after one week of use of Red-Puccoon Max at 0.5% (VISIA analysis)
- Soothing action — reduces the main inflammatory markers in vitro (IL-6, TNF-α, PGE2, IL-1α, IL-8) at very low levels
- Repair signals — the Maxol version significantly increases keratinocyte migration, an indicator of the skin’s repair capacity
- Stable tone — the tone holds up under heat, cold and light
- Function and tone in one ingredient — the look of the formula tells the active it contains, without synthetic colorants
